A Scottish gem, New Lanark Yarns offers sustainable, low-environmental impact yarn spun and dyed at their hydro-powered mill in the heart of Lanark. They specialise in producing high-quality woollen yarns for knitting, hosiery, weaving, and textile trade. They have been an accredited member of the Soil Association for our Organic Wool since 2006.
Our Aran yarn is a medium-weight wool, perfect for your aran jumpers, cardigans, hats, scarves and gloves.
Fibre: 100% Pure New Wool Yarn Weight: DK Length: 120metres/132yards approximately per 50g Ball Weight: 50g or 100g (dependent on colour) Tension: 22 stitches, 30 rows to 10cm (4 inches) on 4mm needles (UK size) Care Instructions: Handwash in lukewarm water with some wool wash.
