The Yarn Cake Community

We're always happy to help, be it in person or online. We're not just a yarn cafe, we are a hub of the crafting community here in Glasgow.

  • Café

With our cosy knitting nook, you can treat yourself to locally roasted coffee or a pot of loose leaf Eteaket tea and a slice of cake and relax. Our coffee comes from the wonderful Dear Green Coffee, and delicious cake from Bad Mum Bakery. We're also dog friendly!

  • Spinning

What's better than crafting with yarn? Crafting yarn! We sell drop spindles and have spinning wheels for hire to "try before you buy", as well as a selection of fibre and learn to spin kits in store. Every 3rd Sunday is Spin Sunday, where you can bring along your spinning and relax with a tea or coffee and hang out with fellow spinners.

  • Knit Night

We run twice-weekly Knit Nights, Thursdays from 6pm-9pm and Sundays from 5pm to 8pm. Whether you're visiting whilst on holiday, or want to connect with fellow yarn enthusiasts, it's a lovely relaxed setting with a friendly and inclusive group. Your ticket comes with unlimited black tea and a slice of cake. All yarny projects are welcome!
