Many apologies for any inconvenience, but this will allow us the time to get on with some all important Glasgow School of Yarn planning and a little bit of birthday celebrating.
British Knitting Awards
It's British Knitting Awards time again and we are absolutely delighted to be nominated in the Best Independent Yarn Shop - Scotland category for the third year running! We would be massively grateful if you could take a few minutes to head over to the British Knitting Awards site and vote for us! We're also eligible for the Best Yarn Shop Day Experience, which is a free vote. There are shiny prizes to be won by you, too!

We trialled savoury waffles a few weeks ago and they've gone down a storm - so they're staying on the menu permanently! We have a variety of flavours, including German Kräuterquark (a herby cream cheese mix) with ham or smoked salmon, and beetroot with goats cheese and walnuts.
Hope to see you in the shop soon,
Antje and The Yarn Cake team
